Trivia:

        On 5/21/1987, Top Cat movie 'TC & the Beverly Hills Cats' premiered, 
it was pretty much a pathetic movie; it follows old 'Missing Heir' plot; nothing new,
badly made, many mistakes, things don't correlate with each other, 
illogical & unrelated sequences follow each other, no chronological order of events 
or anything. Dibble stinx, has no meaningful role in the movies, he comes & goes 
out of nowhere. Unlike the original TC 30, this movie was made in urinary rush, 
nothing but financial gain was in mind. Whatever happened to quality ?
Movie might have been entertaining if new story, plot was used.

        In 1961, along with TC, following animated shows premiered:
Alvin & Chipmunks, Bullwinkle, Rocky & Peabody, Disney's World of Color
introduced new memorable character professor Ludwig Von Drake, uncle of Donald Duck.
In a way those shows contributed to TC's only season, competition in the
cartoon world was fierce.                               
Top Cat is H/B's most sophisticated animated show ever produced but in reality 
it's among the most original, intelligent, witty (animated) shows ever.

* I corrected 'The Unscratchables' episode; gangster's voice was mixed
with gangster's g/f voice, it intertwined. It sounded & looked terrible, 
unprofessional. I'm amazed that was not corrected for half a century, how shameful!
