=How Rocky Marciano Statue Came To Be?!=

The true story of boston/brockton rocky marchegiano/marciano statue 10 years later

Unveling of Rocky Marchegiano statue was planned for September 1 2009, on Brockton High School grounds. 
However it was delayed for 3 years because credit to Jan Pawel (John Paul) Lary Lubek & Santa Wanda Wladyslawa Nida was not given.

The original concept and idea for the Rocky Marciano Statue was given to WBC Sulaiman family by Jan Pawel Lary Lubek 
and Santa Wanda Wladyslawa Nida[1]. Initially, the statue was supposed to be made out of bronze but Lubek suggested 
to be made of fiberglass and polyester resin. These materials do not corrode so easily over time. Initially, 
the statue was to be erected in Boston because millions of people live there and millions more visit. 
Brockton was also to get life-size statue of Rocky on high pedestal. However greedy Brockton with greedy 
Rocky Marciano family decided to have it erected in Brockton because it was Rocky's hometown. 
The rocky marciano statue committee was headed by cheap Brockton "lawyer" Lawrence Siskind 
seeking fame & fortune thru Jan & Wanda's statue. Brockton's main crappy newspaper 'the brockton enterprise' 
was told many time about who made rocky statue possible but they also showed their 
ignorance & ingratitute & never wrote one one of truth about rm statue. Brockton never 
even mentioned one word about doing rocky statue of any kind, not even a bust (popiersie/poprsje) 
& when they realized it will not be made for rm's 2009th birthday, they all went furious & showed their 
ignorance & hypocrisy, including mayor bill carpenter. He used "the fact how he fought for rm statue" 
to help him win re-election. The artist, Mario Rendon, head of the Instituto Universitario de 
las Bellas Artes in Colima, Mexico, was selected to sculpt the 300 000$ 22 1/2 feet statue, 
the tallest of a sports figure in North America. Unfortunately cheap Brockton didnt 
even give a penny towards its construction. After years of delays in the planning stages,
the groundbreaking for the statue was held on April 1, 2012, on the grounds of Brockton High School. 
The statue was officially unveiled on September 23 2012 (without even mentioning Jan's n Wanda's names), 
which was the 60th anniversary of Marciano winning the world heavyweight title.[4] Long before, 
a bronze statue of Marciano was also erected in Ripa Teatina, Italy to celebrate the birthplace of Marciano's father.
