List of NATO aircraft damaged and/or downed during the aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia

General Smiljanic said during the press conference in Belgrade, that the Yugoslav Air Force and Air Defense have sustained "minimal personnel losses", specifying seven dead and 17 wounded servicemen. He confirmed the downing of the American F-117A, supposedly "stealth" aircraft. "Do not ask me how", said general Smiljanic. According to him, "the Yugoslav Air Force and Air Defense have retained operational capability throughout the whole territory of FR Yugoslavia", though their stationary infrastructure have sustained from aerial attacks a damage in the level of US$ 300 million. General Smiljanic said that NATO warplanes flew 1300 missions from the onset of the aggression, that 400 cruise missiles have been launched to the territory of FRY, and that these attacks made use of airspaces of Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Macedonia and Albania.

The Yugoslav military developed a very successfull tactic of destroying these squads and have being shooting the helicopters at the point of takeoff, when they are most vulnerable. According to the interview, most of the casualties are American, and others include German, French, British and Turkish servicemen. April 29th	major general Spasoje Smiljanic, Yugoslav Army's Air Force Commander	In spite of the enormous military preponderance of the forces NATO mustered for the attack on FR Yugoslavia, the set objectives have not been accomplished, and it NATO has certainly lost the first battle, and suffered a complete moral catastrophe. After a month of enormous military pressure, the YA AF and AD have preserved their combat potential and this proves the fact that NATO plans were completely unrealistic and the strategy fully off mark. All Air Defence subsystems are operational and continue to function with the anticipated efficiency - as the results confirm. Yugoslav Air Force and Air Defence downed 24 enemy planes (two of them being stealth F117), 2 helicopters, 2 drones and 30 cruise missiles. Furthermore, The Yugoslav Army Air Force and Air Defence have carried out all their assignments related to the support for YA ground forces.
May 6th	vice-admiral Milan Zec, Commander of the Yugoslav Navy	Yugoslav naval forces, so far, managed to shoot down 3 aircraft, 1 UAV and 5 cruise missiles. Also, one more aircraft was hit and damaged but it didn't crash
May 14th	Pavle Bulatovic, Yugoslav Defense Minister	Until today, units of the Yugoslav Army shot down more than 70 aircraft, dozen helicopters, couple of dozen UAVs and more than 180 cruise missiles
May 29th	lieutenant general Nebojsa Pavkovic, Commaner of the Third Army	For the past two months, the enemy fired around 2800 bombs (projectiles) and 220 cruise missiles on 445 sites across Kosovo and Metohija. During that time, we shot down 47 aircraft, 4 helicopters and 21 UAV. From that number, Third Army forces downed 29, and Air Force and Air Defense forces 18 aircraft.

June 12th	lieutenant general Nebojsa Pavkovic, Commaner of the Third Army	For the past 79 days of the aggression, Third Army units managed to shoot down 34 enemy aircraft, 5 helicopters, 25 UAVs and 52 cruise missiles. This number, does NOT include aircraft and helicopters crashed outside of Yugoslav territory
